Unable to create/deploy pulse secure connect in the existing resource group .The portal says "There are already few existing resources in this resoource group, kindly create a new one select a resource group that is empty"

Hi All,

Am trying to create/deploy pulse secure connect for my azue subscription and when i try to do that i have selected my existing resource group where i already have few resources and an existing VNET which has an address space of 4096 IP addresses out of which only 25 are used at the moment.

The problem is when we try to deploy it in the existing RG, it says there are already few resources deployed and it is asking us to create a new RG and a new VNET.

Can you pls help us ASAP on this.

Hi James,

Yes it did allow me to get that deployed in a new Resource Group. But if i deploy that in a new RG, I will be getting a new VNET, new Storage account and the machine that will be deployed will be in the new RG. So, if i connect to VPN and try to connect one of the servers in existing VNET, it doesnt allow me since there is not peering between the two VNET's.

Also, if i create a new VNET now, there it consumes a lot of private IP address space which can incur our cost. In our existing VNET where our servers are deployed, we do have a free address space of 4000 IP's. Hence we want that to get that deployed in an existing VNET only.

I have attached the error message here. Can you please let me know how can we deploy the same in the existing RG.

Thanks
