Hi,

We received the notification this morning about upgrading the storage accounts, and we’ll look to action this soon, however I notice that all storage accounts related to our Databricks workspaces are currently using “Blob Storage” and can’t be changed due to the deny assignment that has been placed on them by Microsoft.

Can you confirm that you will be upgrading these before the deadline or provide a means to upgrade these?

I did try emailing the address in the email but this apparently doesn't work.

    Hello @Andrew Doades ,

This is only applicable to Azure Data Lake Storage Gen1 accounts which are of type Data Lake Storage Gen1.

This doesn't applies to Azure Blob Storage or ADLS Gen2 accounts which are of type Storage account.

Note: Azure Databricks internal storage - because which are of type Storage account and it's of kind Blob Storage.

Note: ADLS Gen2 is a feature of Blob Storage.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.
