End Point Manager changing from Personal to Private ownership

We recently tried to move some of our enrolled assets from Personal status top Corporate so we can view the applications in use, however all of these we moved ov er still don't allow us to view the applications from the device details. In addition to re-badging them what else should we have done to ensure we now have full control and can view all the applications? Many thanks John

The change that you do by manually changing the device property from "Personal" to "Corporate" is cosmetic, which is just for administrator's reference.

For you to make it corporate, you have to add device identifier before the device enrolls.
It could be device serial number or IMEI number (mobile devices) or Hardware hash (autopilot)
This will help you set up identifier,
