Windows configuration Designer fails to download bulk token

Hello,

I have been using the Setup School PCs app for quite a while now but recently (since around the 15th February 2021) it is consistently failing after logging into the admin account for Intune.

It logs in and then says

The account I have signed in with shows below as accepted but the only option is 'Continue without account'

I thought I was doing something wrong so tried the Windows Configuration Designer instead but get the following message that it cannot download the Bulk Token and it returns with an empty response. Version number for WCD is 2021.204.0.0. I assume the error is the same for both as the token is not being downloaded.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - I have also tried Global admin accounts as well as Intune admin accounts with the same result.

Many thanks

@ScorpioOne-6350, I have faced the same issue before and it is fixed when I install the WCD from Windows ADK.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/get-started/adk-install

Please try to install the WCD from ADK and check if it can success.

Hope it can help.

@Crystal-MSFT - thank you for this help.

I have tried it (installed the full package from your link) but have now replaced one error with another - it now says 'Bulk token retrieval failed'.....'Bad request'

I have checked in Azure that I have access to install/enroll devices (for the time being I have changed it to 'All users can install')

Any ideas?

Thank you

@ScorpioOne-6350, Research and find this can occur if there are no more licenses available for Azure AD Premium and Microsoft Intune. Please check on this.

@Crystal-MSFT

Thank you - I have checked and the user does have a license attached to the account but I have come across this:

There is apparently a fault at the moment.

Thanks for your help.

@ScorpioOne-6350, Thanks for the reply. After go through the link, I find the issue will be fixed at the end of this week. we can wait for some more time. However, if the issue is still there next week, as intune support, we are not best channel for this issue. we suggest to contact Azure AD support to get more help:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/active-directory-troubleshooting-support-howto

Thanks for your time and have a nice day!
