How do you get the Azure mobile app tablecontroller in Visual Studio 2019

Good day, I have a new computer that I have installed the latest version of Visual Studio 2019. During the install I have selected all the Azure components. When I try to create a new TableController, I click Controllers - Add- Controller and there is no Azure option in the left column in the Add New Scaffolded Item. Thanks for you help

Up to 10 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 3.0 MiB each and 30.0 MiB total.

Forgot to include some information in my post:
I am using the latest version of Visual Studio Community edition version 16.8.5 and I am trying create a microsoft.azure.mobile.server.tablecontroller but this option is nowhere to be found. I cannot find any of the Azure scaffolding in Visual Studio. What did I miss?

Hello @JeanYvesLalande-6136 , did you create and use a Azure Mobile App project in Visual Studio 2019? I tested on my side but I failed to reproduce your issue, I blocked when creating a Azure Mobile App project in Visual Studio 2019, could you share me the whole reproducible steps and I will test and check it. BTW, I noticed that Azure Mobile App project templates seems not supported in Visual Studio 2019.

Hello @JeanYvesLalande-6136 , I recommend taking a peek at this workaround which requires creating the controller within your code base.
Hope this helps.

I am using VS 2019 latest load and it is not in the list of templates available when I create a project. How do I install it? Where does it come from?

Hi @JeanYvesLalande-6136 , thank you for the feedback, have you checked this thread: Azure Mobile App project templates? I noticed that in Visual Studio 2017 it is available, but as far as I know, the Azure Mobile App project template is not available in Visual Studio 2019. If you want to use it, you may need to use Visual Studio 2017.

Thanks for your input. All the Microsoft blogs I read about this problem said to upgrade to the latest version of VS 2019 and it is in there, and then Microsoft closed the request. The question is: Are there any actual plans to migrate the Azure templates and scaffoldings to VS 2019.

Hi @JeanYvesLalande-6136, sorry for the late reply. It seems there isn’t any plans to migrate the Azure templates and scaffoldings to VS 2019, perhaps, App Center is the next generation solution for Mobile App Services. For Azure Mobile App, Mobile App Services or some related information and plans, I suggest you add Azure related tags or start a new thread to ask your questions and get more professional help from Azure Team.
