Normally, does BranchCache work with Windows feature Update that are deployed by MECM (deployment package) ? The package always seems to download from my DP. My DP and client have BranchCache enable.

is it automatic, when i have one device with the ESD file downloaded in the SoftwareDistribution folder, all other device will download from that first device ?? Do I need to wait like 24 hours, so the Cache will be update or what ?

    @Jonathan
    Here are some answers to your questions that hopefully you find helpful!

    does BranchCache work with Windows feature Update that are deployed by MECM (deployment package) ?

    Yes, Feature Updates that are deployed by MECM (deployment package) could use BranchCache.

    is it automatic, when i have one device with the ESD file downloaded in the SoftwareDistribution folder, all other device will download from that first device ??

    Yes, your understanding is correct.
    After one device requests and receives content from the main office or cloud datacenter and the content is cached at the branch office, all other device at the same branch office can obtain the content locally rather than contacting the content server over the WAN link.

    Do I need to wait like 24 hours, so the Cache will be update or what ?

    We do not need to wait so much time.
    Using BranchCache, ESD file is cached on one device, and all other device can retrieve them as needed. This approach distributes the cache, drastically reducing the time that it takes for devices to receive the requested content.
