windows 10, version 2004

I update my system to windows 10, version 2004 but after I Restart the computer, the system fell back to the previews version and still showing to update to windows 10, version 2004.
Could someone help me understand what the issue is.

My advice is don't update. My laptop needed a full reinstall of Windows after trying this update, did the desktop at the same time and it has removed the update because the computer wouldn't restart with it.

I've always used VirtualBox to run Ubuntu as a VM on Windows. But you can install WSL 1 on Windows Home also, so you don't need to wait for the upgrade to 2004. WSL 2 is supposed to provide better performance to VMs.
