Is Azure DevTest Lab still an actively developed product?

Hi, we're looking at a new deployment of our environment in Azure, is Azure DevTest Labs still a product in active development or are we better off sticking to 'vanilla' azure? Notice that the blog hasn't been updated for it for 15 months https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/tag/azure-devtest-labs/ and VS2019 still hasn't been added as an artefact here: https://github.com/Azure/azure-devtestlab/issues/575 Want to make sure we're not investing into something that's slowly being phased out.

Hi,

I don't think the DevTest lab will go anywhere soon, it recently (May 27, 2020) got generally available in Azure Government and Switzerland regions.
You'll find the Azure roadmaps over here:

Azure DevOps Feature Timeline
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/release-notes/features-timeline

Azure updates

Best regards,
Leon

Hello @Andrewbell-1806 - Thanks for reaching out to us and for being patient.

Azure DevTestLabs is still an active service and is supported by our Product Team. You can go ahead and develop your environment using DevTestLab in Azure.

I hope this clarifies your question. Again, thanks for being patient.

Is there a roadmap for new features for it, as it's seem to have been stale for a long time?

Hi, Azure Government seemed to be back in April 2018

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/updates/azure-devtest-labs-announcing-azure-devtest-labs-in-azure-government-2/

But see what you mean about Switzerland. Good to hear.

The concern is on the feature's timeline, labs isn't mentioned at all. So don't want to invest in formulas etc if it's not moving forwards.

Currently the only way of checking updates for DevTest Lab updates is here:
