Hi everyone,

it is possible deploy an edge node with specific kernel on an existing HDInsight cluster?

You may deploy Microsoft Edge using WSUS, Configuration Manager and Intune.
You may try to manually download the build for Microsoft Edge on:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download
And then deploy it using the method you want.

no it wasn't very helpful, i had a problem with my HDInsight cluster, but luckily i solved it. thanks anyway
