I tried created a 30 GB partition out of my main partition. After a minute or so, I received a pop-up saying the operation has failed. I resbooted my PC and when I openes disk management, my old partition was 30 GB smaller, but the new partition simply isn't there. My question is, where is my partition, can I use it and, if necessary, how can I put it back on my bigger partition?

    Hi,

Would you please provide a screenshot of the disk manager?

Please run CMD as adminitrator, then run commands and show the result for us:

    DISKPART
    list disk
    select disk <SSDdisk>
    list partition

    Thanks for your time!
    Best Regards,
    Anne

You can try to use a program like Testdisk to get back the partition.
