Do you know a way to control the authorship of a word and excel document? We currently use office 2016 desktop, I don't know when it is planned to upgrade to the desktop version of 365.
I really need to know if my students copy the exercise that I send them or do it themselves, until now I used the metadata to authenticate author, creation date, modification date and edition time, but my students know how changed it or if they used "save as" all the most important metadata that I need are reset.
As I usually give them a basic docx document, I thinked one way and is to use the change control, but it should be in the background, hidden from the student, also using the key to prevent it from being deactivated, but word shows the comments as soon as the document is opened , is what I would like to avoid, so the comments are saved with date and author, and I would visualize it.
I would also need it in excel.
