Hybrid Azure AD joined devices shows Azure AD joined in AAD

Hi all,

I am facing one issue with testing of Autopilot Hybrid AAD Joined scenario and need your help.
After enrolling the device via Autopilot with AAD account, it successfully creates a computer account in AD and AAD.
But in Azure AD it shows AAD registered instead of Hybrid Joined.

Also on the client OS side when I run dsregcmd /status it shows AzureADJoined = No

On Event viewer I see this error.

Any help is appreciated.

@ajaykothawade-7485 Thanks for reaching out. As per the error message in your event viewer, it seems that the device was yet to be synced via azure AD connect before it could complete the further process. Current default sync interval is 30 mins, so the maximum it would take is 30 minutes to be able to sync the device object to Azure AD.

Once the device is in Azure AD, then it can perform a Join operation to show up the device as Hybrid.
Check if you are still having this error as if everything is setup correctly this should auto correct in 30 mins.

If not, then you would need to investigate with AAD event logs to understand what happened.
