Change a Teams meeting organiser?

Below is an example case;

  • We have a MS TEAM (Training) where User1 and User2 are set as "Owners".

  • User1 schedules a meeting in the Team Channel and invites Guest1, Guest2 and Guest3 as an "Attendees".

  • User1 goes in to "Meeting Options" and sets Guest1 as a "Presenter"

  • User1 goes on leave before the event.

  • User2 wants to access "Meeting Options" to make changes to the presenters list to add Guest2 as a "Presenter" as well but fails as User2 is not the "Organiser".



How can I make this work?

Currently, this feature is not supported.

As a workaround, User1 could add User2 as presenter in the meeting. Then User2 could change the roles of other participants. You could refer to this article to learn more about roles in a Teams meeting.

Meanwhile, many people give a feedback about this feature. You could vote here.
