How to mount a SMB on Linux, using Managed Identities

I know how to mount the SMB file share in Centos using username and password. There are documentation on how to utilize AD Service. But I'm unable to find the documentation on how to mount SMB drives using Managed Identities. Any idea?

Azure Files does not currently support authentication with Azure AD, Azure AD DS, or AD DS from Linux VMs. For product feedback and feature requests I will refer you to our feedback forum. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions or concerns and we will be happy to assist.

Why there's a "Storage File Data SMB Share Contributor" role in managed identities? Is this a role which does not help with mounting SMB drives at this time?

Authentication is supported for Windows at this time. For more information about assigning those roles you can refer to this article.
