Intune Enrollment Problem

Hi,

I am working with a client to enroll their BYOD computer into Microsoft Endpoint Manager and we keep running into issues.

We upgrade the computer's OS to Win10 Pro using a product key.

Their account is Microsoft 365 E3, they have a Microsoft Intune license, the computer has no updates, the device is not listed under Endpoint Manager, I created two enrollment restrictions to include all device types and the device limit is 15, & the access work or school account was set up with the work email.

How should I resolve this issue?

@ChaytonDurham-1509 Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

To clarify this issue, we appreciate your help to collect some information:

  1. Please check if the device is showing in Azure AD portal. If yes, check if the MDM of this device is "Microsoft intune".

  2. Please check if the MDM user scope is set to "All" in Devices > Windows > Windows enrollment > Automatic Enrollment in intune portal

@LuDaiMSFT-0289

The device is showing up in the Azure AD admin center under devices because I uploaded the Autopilot HWID file yesterday. There is not MDM type listed

MDM user scope is set to all.

@ChaytonDurham-1509 Thanks for your update.

From your description, I know that you upload the HWID in intune. So, do you use autopilot enrollment? If so, it is suggested to delete the device in Azure AD portal and then reset the device.

After that, please check if the MDM of this device is "Microsoft intune" in Azure AD portal and if the device exists in intune portal.

If there is anything unclear, feel free to let us know.
