looking for a solution on using an alternative method of receiving an authentication code vs a mobile device.
Hi @OswaldoJaime-5673 , are you asking if there's an option to send MFA to a personal email, or that you sent a code to an email and you can't access it?
I am asking is it possible to use an email address to receive the MFA access code vs using a mobile device, phone number, text, MS Authentication App. I have users that are in areas where a mobile device is not permitted therefore using the MFA options that are given will not work. Hope this clarifies my question. Thank you for the response.
Hi @OswaldoJaime-5673 , the only way to do this currently is by using the Outlook client app. This document details how you can customize MFA through the app. If you're not currently using it, you can easily add the Outlook Cloud App to your conditional access policy. Please let me know if you have any questions!
