What is the maximum MIF size for Hardware Inventory with CB2010?

We are having issues with MIF sizes exceeding 50mb and I wanted to find out if that is still the maximum allowable size for CB2010? I was under the impression that got increased again, but I can't seem to find that documented anywhere.

Thanks for the help

You will need to review the MIF files to determine why they are over 50 mb. Once you do that you can turn off the class that is causing the issues. Plus let em know what class is cause this. Most system will be less than 20mb so being over 50mb without shortcuts is rare.

    Hi, @PaulM
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
Although there is no documentation for this, I think the maximum MIF size for Hardware Inventory is still 50MB.
Have you enabled the SMS_SoftwareShortcut inventory class for SCCM’s Asset Intelligence? This inventory class is known to cause problems by increasing the inventoried file size beyond what SCCM can handle (50 MB).
If you get a hardware inventory MIF that is greater than 50 MB without using the SMS_SoftwareShortcut AI inventory class, please contact @Garth .

    Hi @Garth and @AllenLiu-MSFT
We are not collecting SMS_SoftwareShortcut inventory class, but a few of our systems are still going over 50mb. The majority are not having this issue, but a few are and it's causing alerts for the data loader component.

    Thanks,
