Sequel to How to get a notice when a up arrow key is pressed in C language

Hi, Thank you, Castorix31, GuidoFranzke, and PetrusKIM-2099 for the answers I am digesting the answers you gave me and try to convert it a part of a function within the CALLBACK WndProc(HWND hWnd, UINT message, WPARAM wParam, LPARAM lParam) In the meantime I feel I owe an explanation why I unwittingly ended up repeating the same question I have been using and benefited from this forum for many years. I developed dear friendships also for they helped me when I was in difficulties Then I find that things have changed. Now I am required to submit “TAGS”. I don’t know what “TAGS” is and how I can find it. I sought help in “chat room” and it was not clear what this was about. “chat room” told me to put “edge” and that finally seem to work but I don’t know why. When my question was finally accepted the question did not show up in “my thread”. In fact I did not know what happened to it. So I tried to submit the question again, thinking I did something wrong, but with same result: no question showed up in “my thread” Luckily you people responded to my question to my email. I am answering through a reply in email; This is the only way I know at this time Would you be good enough to tell me how I can learn to use this forum and ask questions. Is there writeup I can read or call someone who will explain this; It would be rather quick I think In the past I would enter the command below: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/user/threads?user=C.H.Chi Then I enter ID and Password. I click “my thread” and I would get all my past questions and answers I received. I was able to communicate very well. Is there a way to get back to where I was before, I wonder. I plan to work on this problem so that I can perform the task as a part of a function. I use C language, not C# I try to send this reply via reply in e mail but not able to do so I don't know how I can reply to you. Therefore I am sending this in this way Thank you very much for your help. ChangChiTheGraphics
