Good morning / afternoon everyone; We have a new issue that appeared after the February updates for Windows 10. All of our Windows 10 machines now have an unquoted service path vulnerability (verified) for the hmpalertsvc service. I have attempted running regedit as administrator and modifying the registry key and permissions and I've tried using an administrator account to no avail. I am unable to add the quotes as required and I am unable to modify the permissions of the registry key / take ownership of it. In looking at the permissions of the key itself, the local PC's administrator group has full control and ownership of the entire key. Any one else running into this issue or have any suggestions? All machines are build 1909.

    Hi,
As far as I know, there is no related known issues has been offered.
Looks like the service is for Hitman Pro antivirus scanner. Since this is a third-party software detection, it maybe conflicts with the update.
I think you can delete this tool to see if there is still this problem.
If it doesn’t cause any impact then do not be worry.
Hope above information can help you.
