MS Teams - Intermittent voice breaking/pause

During teams meeting, I see the voice breaking issue in the middle. There is no problem with network connectivity and I didn't face this in my previous laptop but this issue is there in my new laptop.

Tried reinstalling teams and also changed headphones but no luck

What could be the issue?

My ISP provider provides 2 types of WIFI connection so I have 2 WIFI points available - MyWifi-5G and MyWifi-2.4G

When I connect to 2.4G WIFI, I don't see the issue. But the voice breaks when 5G is connected.

5G is more faster and 2.4G has slower bandwidth. But there is just some difference between GHz that they offer.

  • So workaround is to connect to 2.4G network when I get into the call.

Let me know if there is something I can do here to fix this and can use 5G as 5G speed is faster.

Each wireless vendor has its own recommendations for deploying its wireless solution. It recommends you to consult your WiFi vendor for specific guidance.

Does this issue exist all the time?

Do you have the same issue in Teams web client?

In this case, we firstly recommend you update your audio driver in your device to see if it works. And ensure you meet the hardware requirements:
