You can ask your Global Administrator to configure One-time bypass for your account using below option:
Azure Portal > Azure Active Directory > Security > Multi-Factor Authentication > One-time bypass
That way you will be able to login to https://aka.ms/mfasetup and change the MFA method.
You may ask the Global Admin to disable MFA for your account as well by excluding your account from Conditional Access policy or disable it using MFA portal based on how MFA is enforced.
