Issues creating a bot

I'm creating a new bot for Smart Assist in Omnichannel using these directions: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-service/smart-assist#step-1-create-a-bot-user I the follow the instructions on how to create a bot: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-service/configure-bot#step-1-create-a-bot-user I've copied the Microsoft Application ID and tried creating new user, but I get the following error message: Azure application ID not found We didn’t find that application ID in your Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). Make sure your application is registered in Azure AD. If you contact support, please provide the technical details.

@CourtneySuess-8649 Thanks for the question. The steps mentioned above seems to be from dynamics 365 to create a smart assist bot and the users along with it. Dynamics 365 is currently not supported on Azure Q&A platform.

But, the error message in your question seems to be a valid error message if you are using a different application id than the one used to create your smart assist bot. As a pre-req in this document your smart assist bot must first be created. The steps to create them are in this github repo.

While creating this bot you can see the app id of your bot which you can use in the steps you mentioned above to create a user. Please could you cross check the same and try the scenario again?

@CourtneySuess-8649 Did you get a chance to check if you are able to create a bot after the required pre-reqs are completed?
