To my knowledge, this issue to be narrowed down as many factors could be a cause like Anti-virus, network, add-ins, emails with attachments, archived emails, etc.
What exactly happens when during the interruption?
What is the status of Outlook - disconnected or trying to connect?
Outlook online mode or cached mode?
Have you checked the "Connection status" of outlook during the issue (Ctrl+right click on outlook icon in system tray)
Also, please note that Exchange 2010 is out of support, please upgrade to the supported version.
