Declined updates in the WSUS console

Hi,

ConfigMgr Current Branch 2010.
Under Software Update Point Component Properties / WSUS Maintenance I have activated everything.
I see a lot of declined updates in the WSUS console. Will they be deleted over time? Or do I have to delete them using the WSUS CleanUp Wizard?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @dnl24-8182,

If we are using SCCM&WSUS to manage update, then we could foucus on SCCM side.

On the side of SCCM, when the update is marked as Expired, the update shown in the console will be deleted about the next 7 days. The default setting for sccm is to expire 90 days after being superseded, of course, we could expire a superseded software update immediately. Please refer to the following screenshot:

No, they will not be deleted over time, and the operation of using the WSUS CleanUp Wizard will just delete the binary in the server, not the source data, as the entry on the WSUS console.
