Not sure what you are referring to but normally they offer free trial and installing them without valid license is illegal and it also harm your system and they won't function as expected.

Yes, it is possible.
Non-activated Windows 10 provides limited customized configuration and features to users, but doesn’t influence game performance and hardware performance, just install your games such as csgo, valorant, COD, then enjoy them.
I ever played League of Legends and COD 6 on a non-activated Windows 10 machine.
