Azure Automation Shut down/Start VM Solution

Hello Experts,

I'm exploring the use of the Azure Start/Shut down solution with Azure Automation account to automate VM shut down/ start up.

Is there a way that the solution can send a notification to users which allows them to postpone the shut down schedule?

Attachments: Up to 10 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 3.0 MiB each and 30.0 MiB total.

Is it possible to add more hours to the "postponement" options?

As far as I know: "no".
1 or 2 hours or skip the instance are the only options.

But this solution is built-in, no coding or tricks required.
