What consideration do you need to take when setting up SCDPM Modern Backup Storage with SDD disk?

Hi,
What consideration do you need to take when setting up SCDPM Modern Backup Storage with 4% tired SDD disk? The idea is to reduce the number of Error 40002?

What I have get from Microsoft DPM support is that to reducing the Error 40002, is to have tired SDD disk?

We will set up an HPE Gen 10 server with a disk cabinet. The SSD disk is in the server chassi, and in the disk cabinet there is 12 *12TB disks. Is there any risk to have disks in diffenant chassis? Is the SSD disk only used during the protection job? How stabil is the tired config?

Hello @PerSai-6948

SCDPM is not supported in the Q&A forums at the moment.

The TechNet forums have been migrated and closed for any new questions, unfortunately the DPM forums did not get migrated, you can re-post the tag to: azure-backup, this is the closest category for DPM.

Best Regards
Karlie
