Hi Aravind Srinivas,

Thanks for your posting on this forum.

To avoid misunderstanding, please help to confirm the following first. Here is my understanding of this case:

You want to approve the KB4494175 for the Windows Server2016 clients but the update is superseded by other updates. But what is the meaning of but I could not find “2020-09 update for windows server 2016 (KB4494175)” in WSUS? The KBKB4494175 update did not appear on the WSUS Console?

In my opinion, we could get the update by the two methods:
Import the update manually

Sync the updates by tick the following Products and Classifications:

After selecting classifications as 'Updates', I can see 'KB4346087' but not 'KB4494175'. It doesn't say any update is superseding 'KB4346087' which is not true.

Have you tried to import the update manually on the WSUS console? I tried it in my lab environment and it seems that the issue has been resolved. Here are several screenshots for your reference:

Please try to import the update manually on the WSUS console. Please keep us in touch if you have any updates of the case.

I didn't want to import anything manually. But I tried this today but it is asking me to download instead of directly importing in WSUS content. Is there anything missing?120182-01-microsoft-catalogue.jpg120068-02-microsoft-download-link.jpg
