Error while retrieving connected devices on IOT Hub

I am unable to display the list of connected devices on my IOT Hub. I get the error: "Unable to retrieve devices. Please ensure you have enabled a shared access policy with the necessary permissions". The iothubowner policy is set with all the permissions (read, write, device connect, service connect)
