Windows 10 2021-03 Cumulative Update

Question

Updated several machines yesterday with 2021-03 cumulative update. Tried to update more machines today. But it looks like the update has been pulled. Searched on the update and people complaining of BSODs. What is the status of the March patch Tuesday security updates?

I have checked March 9, 2021—KB5000802 (OS Builds 19041.867 and 19042.867) Microsoft update history website, don’t see BSOD related known issue, only System and user certificates, Microsoft Japanese Input Method Editor (IME) related Known issues in this update.

And, this Cumulative Update is not pulled, we can get it from Windows Update or Microsoft Update Catalog.

Of course, my computer has installed this CU as some of your machines, haven’t see BSOD until now. If you worry about this KB, just wait and see, if there is any potential issue on March update, Microsoft will release follow-up update or notification.

Well:

The update is now again available. It is unclear as to whether a pause was put on it around 2pm EST.

Time will tell and 'shake' any issues out.
