Dear Team, Please help us to resolved the issue server 2008 r2 usb keyboard mouse is not working in login screen, post boot our keyboard and mouse in working .

    Hi,
    When did this issue start to occur? Before the issue happened, did you do any modifications?
    I recommend testing the issue in Safe Mode. If the issue in Safe Mode disappears, it may be a driver configuration or malware issue.

    Also, you could try the following methods:

    Update Drivers
    Go to the manufacturers website for the model of the machine and download the latest drivers.

    Re-Install USB controllers
    Start -> Type Device Manager
    Locate the section of Universal Serial Bus Controllers
    Remove each controller and restart the computer. The computer will recognize new devices and install them.

    our keyboard and mouse is only worked when we boot from OS media or post screen after that it does not work. T

    Modification of server after that it is not worked
    .
    we have kaspersky antivirus it showing Real time protection off as per advised by Kaspersky team .we have reboot the server after that it is not working we have remove kaspersky with help of Anvirus team but problem is still not resolved .

    Our production down.

    Hi,
    Some BIOS disable USB connections to speed boot along and that the common way to fix this is to use a PS/2 keyboard.
    Once in the BIOS, you want to be looking for and option in there that says 'USB legacy devices', make sure it is enabled.

    Save the settings in the BIOS, and exit.
    After that, any USB port the key board is connected to should allow you to use the keys, to access the BIOS or Windows menus when booting if pressed.
