Why memory statistics are not displaying on Azure VM monitoring section but CPU / Disk / Network is available ?

We can get it from Log Analytics by enabling the gust level monitoring / Insights, - Why its not displayed as default where as CPU/Network / Disk is available

Hi,

They have removed the "host metrics" memory from VM's, to get the memory metrics you'll have to use the new Insight option to expose the memory usage.

View performance directly from an Azure VM
To access directly from a virtual machine, perform the following steps.

  1. In the Azure portal, select Virtual Machines.

  2. From the list, choose a VM and in the Monitoring section choose Insights.

  3. Select the Performance tab.
