Example environment

Hyper-v Host

Team0 IP 192.168.10.1
subnet 255.255.255.0
GW 192.168.10.254
vlan 10

Team1 IP 192.168.20.1
subnet 255.255.255.0
vlan 20

VM 1 IP 192.168.20.10
subnet 255.255.255.0
GW 192.168.20.254
DNS 192.168.20.10
vlan 20

VM 2 IP 192.168.10.10
subnet 255.255.255.0
GW 192.168.10.254
vlan 20

-Both VM can ping to another host but cannot ping to Hyper-V host
-Both VM can ping Gateway

  • config external switch (tag VLAN) VM1 access to Team1, VM2 access to Team0
  • Windows firewall is disabled already on the guest VMs.

Action :

  • recreate vswitch

    Hi,

    What is the IP address of the Hyper V host, does the Hyper V host connect to Team 0 or Team 1. If the Hyper V host is in a different subnet of the VM, please ensure the subnets can route with each other.
