Using MABS to backup a file server after copying file server to a new disk?

I have been using MABS to backup a folder on a file server, but recently had to copy the entire folder onto a new disk. Running MABS on the copied folder however is starting an entirely new backup instance instead of continuing the previous incremental backups.

Is there a way to get MABS to sync the new copied folder with the previous original one?

@Jack-9892 Thank you for contacting us!
For the folder backups the Volume GUID is used as the identifier for the data source. Moving the folder to different disk will change the identifier hence the backup of entire folder will be taken again. There is no workaround to this.
