Hi,
Yes, you can deploy Quick Assist shortcut into users desktop using GPO.
In Group Policy Management, create a new group policy object (GPO) in the “Group Policy Objects” folder and link it to the OU containing users which you want apply to policy to.
Right click this newly created GPO and select “Edit…”.
Navigate to “User Configuration => Preferences => Windows Settings => Shortcut”
Right click the Shortcut and select “New "
Configure as following:

Update the group policy for the users

Hi

So you've shown us a way to make Quick Assist available for a user. Are there any plans to make a Group Policy to easily disable Quick Assist? The only ways I can find to disable it are either via PowerShell/DISM commands, which would take some effort to deploy to many devices, or through Applocker config, which works fine, but would require Enterprise or Education editions.

You can also modify the start layout and add the shortcut there.
