MS Edge IEMode security

Is this IEMode (running IE inside Edge) more secure than native Internet Explorer?

Does the document mode setting (in IEMode) make any impact on security when running IE inside Edge?

@kalervojankko,
Once the site is loaded in the IE mode, it will work in the same manner as we run in the IE browser. If we talk about security, it will remain the same as we are getting in the IE browser. If you want to know that whether it can affect other tabs/ sites then it will not affect any other tabs/ sites.

Document mode setting will also not make any impact on security while using IE-mode.

It's like a container, everything will get run inside that container and will give you a similar experience as IE browser. Nothing will get impacted outside this container.
