LiteTouchPE ISO after the deployment share update MDT

After updateting the Deployment share on MDT it would re-create new boot images (64 and 86) if there is a noticable difference (eg, system driver packs, etc) and then we would just import them new boot images into WDS. What about the LiteTouchPE ISO ? As noticed the system also creates them LiteTouch ISOs (64 and 86) what do we do with them? We are importing the new boot WIMs into WDS but is there any use for the LiteTouchPEs to be done. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Hi, @CihanAkgol-6708
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
When we import MDT boot images into Windows Deployment Services, after update the Deployment Share, go to Windows Deployment Services, Boot Images, then go to Add Boot Image (LiteTouchPE_x64.wim) if Lite Touch Windows PE x64 is not already present in WDS:
If Lite Touch Windows PE (x64) is already in WDS Boot Images, right click on the image and choose Replace Image (and then select the location of LiteTouchPE_x64.wim).

Hey Allen, many thanks for the effort however that wasn't what I was asking. I should just re-clarify, When the deployment share is updated with a notable change with driver updates, etc it will re-create a new boot image called LiteTouchPE. By default there are 4 of them. 2 X WIM (1 X 64 and 1 X 86) and 2 X ISO (again 1 X 64 and 1 X 86). And we would just import the LiteTouchPE.WIM Into the WDS as a new boot image to be used for PXE. All fine until here..

So the question is what do we do with them 2 X LiteTouchPE.ISO files ( 1 X 64 and 1 X 86)? There must be a reason why them ISOs been created, do we export them anywhere? What's the use of them?

Just a recap, I know what to do with the LiteTouchPE.WIM just wondering the purpose of LiteTouchPE.ISO files which gets created along with the LiteTouchPE.WIM files by default?

Hope that makes sense.

Hi, @CihanAkgol-6708
Thanks for the feedback.
LiteTouchPE.iso is used to install the operating system through Lite Touch Installation (LTI) using bootable media (DVD or USB flash drive).
Here is the steps when we use LiteTouchPE.iso to create the LTI bootable media:
