Calendar items not syncing after migration from Exchange 2013 to 2016

We migrated from 2013 on-premise, to 2016 on-premise, everything went smooth with the exception of a generic user account setup for scheduling purposes. When we migrate this account mail continues to work, but the calendar sync quits working. Unfortunately The calendar is manually added to just over 100 phones. Creating a new calendar is not a reasonable option. Logs show no errors. We moved over 1000 mail objects without issue. This is the only issue. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hi @RobertWagner-2635

Is the mailbox a shared mailbox?

If it is, I would suggest first checking via OWA to see if the calendar items are missing or just not synced.

Please follow these steps:
1.access OWA and login with an account which has full access permission to the shared mailbox
2.click "Open another mailbox"

3.enter the address of the shared mailbox
4. access calendar and check the calendar items

If OWA is working fine, the problem may probably be with the clients.

If you are using Outlook for Windows, please locate File>Account Settings>Account Settings>double click the user account>More Settings>Advanced
Uncheck "Download shared folders" and restart Outlook.

Then check if the calendar items can be synced correctly.
