using iPad client numbers on neither onscreen or hardware keyboard work when entering into webforms on a Windows 10 host

I am using iPad client to contact to an Windows 10 host. Connection is great however numbers on neither onscreen or hardware keyboard will work when entering into web forms on a Windows 10 host. They work perfect if I am physically at the workstation not using the RDP . If I go back to the RDP after entering a number into a webform directly at the PC, I can edit the field and enter numbers fine. This just started after the latest RDP client update. I have tried resetting the keyboards in iPadOS, reinstalling Microsoft RDP client. It happens with or without the hardware keyboard connected. Any suggestions or help is great ly appreciated

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query. According to your description, more information would be grateful.
What is the version of your ipad ios?
What is your former version of the RDP? and what is the latest version now?

The iPad iOS is 14.4.1 The Microsoft RDP client is the latest available.
The user connects to a Windows 10 workstation using the iPad Microsoft RDP client. Upon connecting they are able to use the entire alpha numeric keyboard (both hardware and onscreen ) in applications installed on that workstation such as Word etc. The problem is that when they log into a web application that has form fields the numeric keys do not work on either the hardware keyboard or the onscreen keyboard, that is to say that you type the numbers using either method and nothing appears. If the user logs out of RDP and goes to the workstation (physically in front of it ) and directly uses the hardware keyboard on the workstation the numbers appear as they should. After doing this if the user goes back into an RDP session with the workstation they are able to edit the fields (only the ones they edited using direct input at the computer) using the hardware and onscreen keyboards without issue.
