migrating TFS 2015 and Sharepoint2013 to another domain

Hi,

We are planning to migrate TFS 2015 and SharePoint 2013 from one domain to another.
Currently domain 1 has TFS 2015 and SharePoint 2013, SQL Server 2012 on Windows 2008 server R2.
Domain 2 has TFS 2015, Sharepoint 2013, SQL Server 2012 on Windows Server 2012 R2.

Question is with different OS on these two domains (i.e Windows 2008 and windows2012), will the migration be smooth or do we need to update the OS from windows 2008 to windows 2012 on domain 1, so the OS matches with the domain 2, and then we perform the migration of TFS and Sharepoint?

Thanks.
