How do I configure the SQL Database firewall to allow integration runtime to access?

I'm attempting to run a scan from Purview on an on-prem SQL Server database on my laptop.
The credential uses a key vault with the correct password, Azure sees the Integration Runtime running on my laptop, but I keep getting this error when I try to run the scan:
"Check the linked service configuration is correct, and make sure the SQL Database firewall allows the integration runtime to access."
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

For on-premises SQL Servers, the only way for Azure Purview to authenticate is SQL Authentication. In your test database, create a user / login with SQL Authentication and test the connection.

Have you followed the steps mentioned in this article which helps to register and scan an on-premise SQL Server in Azure Purview.
