Why WSL is not upgrading even when necessary features are installed

I had installed Ubuntu 20.04 distro installed over WSL 1. Now i want to upgrade it to WSL 2. I have also installed "Virtual Machine Platform" feature also. But when i try to set default version, it shows the error "Please enable the Virtual Machine Platform Windows feature and ensure virtualization is enabled in the BIOS." I have already enable Virtualization from BIOS as well. Where am I going wrong ?

Up to 10 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 3.0 MiB each and 30.0 MiB total.

Do you have any other Virtual Machine enabled in your device (for example VMware)?
Are you running Insider Build of Windows 10?

Yes, I have installed VMware for Windows 7 and Ubuntu. I am running on Public Build of Windows 10 (Though, I am an Insider, but that doesn't matter😅)

Try update the VMware to the latest version and restart your PC and see if the problem persist?
Try disable VMware services and restart your PC and make sure they won't run (you may do it from the MSCONFIG) and check if the problem persist?

I uninstalled VMware, and problem got solved, though, existing Ubuntu Distro never started, so I reinstalled it. But this time it was installed with WSL 2. Thanks a lot for your help💯

Welcome and glad it solved your issue.
I believe in case you install the latest version of VMware there won't be any issue. Otherwise report it to the VMware support team.
