@not(equals(item().savingsPlanVestingDate , NULL)),,,, Need this to return False when NULL

Hello again! Last weekend for fixing ADF bugs in QA......@nasreen-akter @MartinJaffer-MSFT @KranthiPakala-MSFT

I have the following as an Expression in my IF Activity:

@not(equals(item().savingsPlanVestingDate , NULL))

What I am trying to say is if savingsPlanVestingDate is NULL, it should go to False, but it's going to TRUE currently . Any ideas? Take out the @not?

Thanks so much!
