"clear current state and restart synchronization" checkbox dissapeared in Scim Provisioning App

Hi,
I'm working on SCIM Provisioning Enterprise App for Active Directory.
In every SCIM provisioning App, Provisioning tab-> Update Credentials there was
"clear current state and restart synchronization" checkbox, which was very useful for R&D purposes.
It disappeared since the last week. Is it a bug?

Up to 10 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 3.0 MiB each and 30.0 MiB total.

Did you manage to get this fixed? I am facing the same issue in the Provisioning tab of an Enterprise App in AzureAD.

No, the problem still exists.

From the main "Provisioning" page, there is a "Restart provisioning" button. This performs the same action as the "Clear state and restart synchronization" checkbox. This was an intentional UI change to remove redundant controls for the same action. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused!

I did find some sort of workaround.
- Change a minor field in the mappings. (company name was a value I was sending as a constant value)
- Save
- Change it back
- Save again
- The GUI will ask you to resync all users again.

And this seems to have the same effect. However: it does take more time.
For a quick sync -> Provision on demand helps for testing.

Yes,
Provision on demand helps for testing.
The problem with resync, is that it doens't clear state. So if I'll change the tenant, for example, it will start to bring all the changes from previous tenant. This checkbox was very useful. I realize, that they removed it from the documentation too.

Try changing one of the mappings. To me it looked like you do get an option to "resync" when you save a change in the save process

Please see my answer for a more in depth response - but wanted to respond here specifically, if you're changing what instance of an application you are provisioning to, you should set up a new provisioning instance on a new Enterprise App rather than changing the URL on an existing provisioning config. The now-removed "Clear state.." option never fully removed various internal metadata tracked by the provisioning service.

I think this comment should be added to the answer. Now it makes cense!
