Password Deletion

I have a ton of passwords and I'm trying to resync and replace new ones.. is there a way to mass delete all the passwords saved on Authenticator without having to delete 1 by 1?

Hi there,

However, when you re-sync again, all my passwords came back. It looks like my passwords are stored on a server somewhere.

How do you actually delete all passwords, stored locally and remotely on a server?

Thank you for your post and I apologize for the delayed response!

When it comes to deleting or stopping the sync of passwords, in the Authenticator app, open Settings > Autofill settings > Sync account. On the next screen, you can select on Stop sync and remove all autofill data. This will remove passwords and other autofill data from the device. Removing autofill data doesn't affect multi-factor authentication.

What if I want to delete all passwords in one go, preferably from (Windows) PC?
Is there any way to delete all passwords in one go (and keep synching setting 'on')?

you can do that from the Microsoft autofill plugin on any browser,

After adding the plugin to the browser, sign in with the account you want to delete passwords from, then click on the plugin icon, go to Settings, then you can find the option Clear Data, and when you click on it, you will choose what data to clear completely (Passwords, Addresses, and Payment info).
