Windows 10 1909 to 20H2

Hi, I am experiencing an issue by where I have approved feature update to windows 10 (business editions), version 20H2 En-gb, but clients after checking for updates are reporting as not applicable. The existing OS version is 1909 Education. The report shows that it is available to install for the particular client, but reporting as not applicable. Any advice is very welcome. Thanks.

You will want to review my guide here

Likely you have consumer edition. If you don't, you may want to review the approvals process in part 6 of my 8 part blog series.

Thanks.

The approval process is fine as it is showing as available for install.

I have tested with business and consumer. As it is Education edition, I assume this is business.

P.a. I purchased WAM on Friday and it’s ace, thank you.

Thanks

As indicated on my blog - Education could be either consumer or business. It's all dependant on the method of installation.

Thank you for being a client :)

Hi Matt Jones,

Thanks for your posting on Q&A.

We could also get feature updates and upgrade to the latest version by Windows 10 Update Assistant. Please try to download the Windows 10 Update Assistant to upgrade if the clients could connect to the Internet.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,
Rita
