ASR in transit data encryption.

Hello,

Could someone please tell me what type of encryption is used by Azure site recovery when replicating data from Vmware VM to Azure storage account. I need to know encryption done on "data in transit", I know encryption done at rest and it is well documented.

So if this is HTTPS then it uses what version of TLS ? , and is that in anyway dependent on TLS version used by VM where process server is running
