Foundation Sharepoint Site Anonyous data access through SPServices not working after SSL configuration

Hi, We are using Sharepoint 2013 foundation site and in this we are trying to access data from a list for anonymous users using SPServices script programing. Anonymous setting is configured on site and it works fine If I access data using SPServices jquery programme but it doesn't returns anything when site is configured as secure site using SSL. Is there any issues in SSL configuration ? Please share your expert comments regarding same.

Hi @DeepakTrivedi-9201,

I could reproduce this issue in my end. At first I injected JS code using JQurey SPServices into a page of a site enabled anonymous access and SSL. Then I accessed the site ( https ) anonymously but I found it didn't return anything that it should have returned. It worked well under http access. I tried using Chrome and IE. An alert will pop-out at the page bottom if using IE like below, if i click "Show all content", the program can be executed successfully.

Finally, I fixed this by the following steps in IE:

  • Click the settings icon in the upper right corner and click Internet Options.

  • Click the Security tab, in the Select a zone to view or change security settings box, click Trusted Sites, and then click Sites.

  • In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type the URL of the site( https ), and then click Add.

  • Click Custom level... button, in the Settings box, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section, and under Display mixed content choose Enable.

  • Click OK two times to accept the changes. Reopen IE and I found the issue was fixed.
