Planning for Server Migration from on-premises

Hi Experts,

We are planning to migrate servers from on premises to Cloud. Please guide me which could be best options and how to proceed. Our plan it move datacenter eventually.

Hi,

Better make use of Azure Migrate which is the best option to move your workloads to Azure. There are different approaches to proceed based on the type and size of the application.

Thanks for your quick reply. I will got with Azure migrate. but where to start?

Hi,

Always it is better to adopt an incremental approach.

1) First, pick one small piece of workload to perform piloting. I explained the video I shared in the earlier comment.
2) Learn the things from piloting so that you can get some grip and issues
3) Plan the next set of servers but not altogether, probably 10 or 20 in a chunk and then proceed with incremental chunks.
