Win Update KB5000802 is causing PCs to crash and reload

Is anyone having issues with Security Update for Microsoft Window (KB5000802)? I'm the IT guy for a small Louisiana State agency. This update is causing **some**of our Dell PCs to crash when trying to print to a shared Kyocera TASKalfa 6053ci. I called our Kyocera support and they told me that particular update has been identified to cause the issue and to uninstall it. I did uninstall it from several of our Dell PCs and we were then able to print to the Kyocera again. Now the issue is this update keeps reappearing after uninstalling it. We are not doing or requesting Windows Update to run, it just mysteriously loads itself. That is the real puzzler. I have yet to reach out to Dell to see if any other Dell users are having this issue. So, I guess the bottom line is how do I prevent KB5000802 from reloading? Attaching the screen when the events happens.![81654-pc-crash.jpg][1] [1]: /answers/storage/attachments/81654-pc-crash.jpg

Hi,
According to the Microsoft website information, this issue could be occurred after installing KB5000802.
For the latest security update March 18, 2021—KB5001649, it seems to have been repaired. Please try to install to check.
Updates an issue that fails to print the graphical content in a document after installing the March 9, 2021 update.
If the issue still insists, I suggest that temporarily disable the Windows Update service to prevent the update installed. Then wait for next update relase.
Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
Best Regards,
Carl

Hello CarlFan,

Thank you for the reply, which was spot on. First I had to upgrade my Win 10 version to 20H2. After the reboot I saw KB5001649 was available and I installed it, rebooted, and the issue is resolved. Thanks again. Now I have to do everyone here in our office's PCs, but it is worth it.
